Joanne Watkins has more than 15 years of experience as a professional graphic designer and has used all the major print, graphics, and Web software. She is an associate professor in the Applied Graphic Design Technology department of Collin Community College, and also teaches in the Senior Adult Education Program of the Business Studies Division at Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas. Computer graphics, desktop publishing, business presentations, and Web design are among the subjects she teaches. When she's not teaching or designing, Joanne maintains her own Web site, volunteers in a computer assistance program for senior adults, and serves on the education committee of the Plano Chamber of Commerce. She also enjoys digital and traditional photography, and has won several awards in these areas.
