Description
- Introduction to Project Management
This lesson provides an introduction to the basics of managing a project using Microsoft Project 2003. The discipline of professional project management has its own lingo and methods, both of which Microsoft Project is geared to follow.
- Creating the File and Adding Tasks
Setting up a project improperly throws the plan off from the get-go. This lesson shows you the right way to tackle the essential starting points: the project calendar, project start date, and tasks.
- Outlining and Linking Tasks
Large projects can have many levels of complexity, and in this lesson you learn how to organize any project by applying outlining. You'll also learn how to use task links to develop the overall schedule for your project.
- Adding and Assigning Resources
Resources are the people, equipment, and materials that accomplish the tasks in any project. Finish creating your plan in this lesson by entering a list of resources, assigning the resources to tasks, and printing the project.
